Although in our country we do not have measurable data that captures the size and forms of child abuse, surveys at a national and Balkan level have ranked Greece among the countries with the highest rates of child abuse. The recording of cases of child abuse by experts will give the magnitude of the “evil” and will facilitate the formulation of policies to prevent and deal with it. What does ELIZA do?

The Association “ELIZA – prevention + recognition of child abuse” protects child victims of abuse, is vigilant where abuse is suspected, informs the general public about the forms of child abuse, equips structures that care for children-victims, trains professionals who manage similar incidents, etc.
